What is death following aspiration pneumonia like? - aspiration
My father is 80 years old, very sick and had a feeding tube for several months. He wants to remove the feeding tube and continue through the mouth, but not swallow, tests, and almost certainly in contact with aspiration pneumonia, which he understands. Has anyone had the experience of someone and do not die from aspiration pneumonia? It differs from regular pneumonia? I do not want it morbid, but my father is ready to die and do not want this huge scale. But I would like some information on what this decision in terms of pain and struggle. Thank you in advance.
