Hiv Transmission Statistics So What Information Should We Trust?

So what information should we trust? - hiv transmission statistics

I have read many e-mails with misleading information about condoms against HIV transmission, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and preventing pregnancy. What are the current statistics on the prevention of pregnancy and contraception perfectly (condom) use? I've heard everything, that 70 to 99%. I have also heard that condoms "small holes" in them, which is very unlikely. What is truth?
